How do I trim after harvest

Hi friends,

I just finished drying my flowers, can anybody help me learn how to trim? I know it sounds silly :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: but hey, this is the first of many auto grows for me.

HELP ME PLEASE.

Hugs forever

Turn it up side down, and try and cut as much of leaf stem off as possible , work your way from the bottom to the top

You can use your trim for doobs or make edibles, so dont be shy. Sharp pointy scissors and just snip away.
If you arent selling the pot, just trim off whatever seems like enough. It wont hurt to leave them untrimmed

These are untrimmed and that would still be ok for storage. But you can see course leaves on them, that is what you would trim off if you were to sell this
the buds in this image are trimmed but still a bit shaggy. I sold half a pound looking just like this.see the couse leafy crap on those… snip them off for a pro bud look. Crows feet are not pro level.

Gloves are important. Did you wash it? A lot do now. 5gal water 1 cup hydrogen peroxide. Swish it around and then swish in clean water. Especially if it was out side. You don’t have to but why not clean it. If it’s warm enough grab a table some sheet pans a cold beer and sit outside. Music is optional but it takes awhile. Some skip the beer and grab a joint. Have fun and if you can get help. Do it. After my first grow it took me several days. Had over two pounds. After awhile you might want to clean of the scissors with a razor blade. Some keep what they scrape off. I think it’s the most work of the grow but you can see the barn from there and giddy up!

I also keep a small cup of rubbing alcohol to keep my trimmers clean , they get gummed up pretty good

Yeah I agree I won’t even sit down to trim without a bowl of alcohol. And a cold beer helps too.

There’s definitely a spot for a bunch of beer on my trim table, lol. I also keep a razor blade on it to scrape the scissors, then I drop them in the alcohol. End up with a real good sized scissor hash ball by the end of it.
