How do I test the soil to make sure that I’m not over or under watering my plants?

A customer has a question and I hope we can get some opinions on it, thanks

How do I test the soil to make sure that I’m not over or under watering my plants? I have them in grow bags and in a lot of sun. I’m also watering with compost tea that I got from a friend of mind. Any help would be much appreciated.

A quick check is to stick your pointer finger into the pots to your second knuckle if it dry then water
You can wiegh your pits when dry and pick them up you should be able to judge after a few watering cycles when tbey are dry enough

A moisture meter also help if you have a couple bucks to spend

After a few grow youll be able to judge when you need to water

Onec i have established plants they tend to need water every two to three days and when in late flower they will need a bit more watering tho
