How deep do I plant a sprouted seed

I like to do mine in peat pucks but if you just have normal substrate such as soil i like to make a little hole no longer than the sprouted taproot. Place the seed, taproot into the soil and if the seed husk is still attached i like to have the tip of the seed husk just peaking out of the soil.

Welcome! I make a 1/2” hole with a pencil or pen and drop the seed inside with the tail side up. This will cause the plant to right itself and while doing so help pull off the seed husk as it breaks through the soil.

I plant around 1/4” deep and keep moist with a baggie over the solo cup.
