How close for seedlings

If I dim the QB 260 XL;s all the way down how close can I put above the new sprouting seedlings? The seeds are in 15gal and 5 gal pots of home soil.

On a dimmimg driver all the way down is roughly 50% nameplate output current. I would say about 20-24" and then adjust as necessary.

Thanks. It is the first time planting seeds straight into the 15 gal pots and already in the tent. I usually have a small light over them. I will start at 20" and see what the ladies do.
