That candle being there is probably an unnecessary fire hazard. Even with a large mature plant ambient co2 concentrations are more than enough for most setups. Being so small this plant cannot process a lot of co2 right now.

Yeah… I’ve heard that adding C02 is necessary for large commercial grows but not so much for one or two plants. Never did a lot of research on it. I hate real candles BTW… yes because of the fire danger.

Increased co2 levels are more beneficial when light density is extremely high and environmental controls are such that high co2 levels can be maintained without constantly exhausting. For most of having reasonable air exchange replenishes more co2 than plants are able to process.
