Okay so I know DE will do the job. But I dont have the money to order it right now? I’ve heard cinnamon powder but it hasn’t seemed to work to well. Any ideas of stuff I might be able to use from around the house that’ll really work? It’s in my garage, not in a tent. I got a ghetto little grow going cuz I cant afford a tent. But I’m gonna make one eventually. But I need help with the ants now. They’re annoying as. Just had an ak about to pop and they ate it…
Try to spread some peppermint and vinegar.
They have this stuff called (amtrol) I believe …
that really gets rid of them…
Its food that they take back to the queen and wipes out any and all ants…

Borax and white sugar mixed up bout 50/50.
Set in a dish on the floor near where they’re coming in and they’ll take it back to the colony.

Advion for Ants

Yeah if you make up a solution with borax and sugar and soak a cotton ball… place the cotton ball in a lid and place the lid on the ant trail. Works wicked!

Ants dont like the smell of citrus ( it messes with their trails) eat an orange and throw you peels around you could also throw a few baited glue traps down

Old post I know but ur orange peel idea might work for me. My plants in to flower so I don’t want to spray them. Do u think if I grind up some sour 
from yard and spread over the pots we it drive the ants away.
Sounds good but I wouldn’t put it directly in your pots ( at most in your drainage trays) oranges love to mold so being constantly wet is a bad idea but if the skin dries out it doesn’t mold(and god know we want no mold spores near our girls)
