Cheers everyone. On my 2nd grow here, and recently upgraded to an HLG 260XL Rspec for my 2x4. I decided to build an enclosure for the potentiometer out of an aluminum project box, and figured I’d order an extra pot or 2 in case my MacGyvering went haywire (get it, wire?).
The potentiometer received with my 260 kit was a 40k, while HLG’s site recommends 50k for Inventronics drivers. Unsure whether this was a mix-up, I emailed HLG and received a response this morning - they advised that both will work fine, but they recommend 40k, as they found it provided a more even rotation output. Hope this helps someone.
