And now there is a lot more heat!

How did I miss that?

Oh yeah, no instructions were with the kits. I YouTube’d it. :man_facepalming:

I feel for you. Running at 20 -25%. You had to be thinking why are these guys pushing HLG. I have them and they aren’t doing anything or me. Glad you got it sorted out but a grow takes a lot of time & effort. It is truly a pisser when it falls short of reasonable expectations.
Halibut Alaska?

Yes. And moose and salmon too!

I’ve helped others on this forum wire their kits.

I think an emergency bulletin needs to be released by HLG.

I don’t know who to be disappointed in, myself, HLG, meanwell….

@dbrn32 @Hellraiser @JJ520

So I just went from 120w to 420w in my flower tent.

I’m in the 5th week of flower. Will this stress my plants too much?

I would back it off a smidge and see how they do. If all looks good end of week bump up again.

Ya, their driver turnarounds have left a little to desire. I would be a little upset, but they are just trying to put out best possible product at lowest price. The 260 kit currently more light and $70 cheaper than original, hard to argue with that.

I’ve had a year of larffy grows. I can’t wait to see what happens now.

@CoyoteCody do you believe this $hite?

Insane! But I bet those girls are going to be happy to get that light lol.

Same thing I would advise, that is a pretty drastic increase of light.

Yeah I can’t believe HLG or Meanwell sent out those drivers like that, all of mine were set correctly but none of my drivers have that pot on the bottom.

That year of larfy grows really sucks but you’ll be on the right track now.

Kinda emphasizes the importance of checking that you’re pulling the expected watts from the light after assembly/purchase.

But at least the problem is solved, goodbye to larfy buds forever!

Just be careful you don’t end up with this

I intended to turn the sonofarm 4000 down to 220w from 400 on day 35 of 12/12. I was a week late and didn’t turn it down and raise height until day 42. I was not aware that purple kush is somewhat prone to foxtailing.

For sure my dude, that would probably be enough for me to track down the jackass that said it was good idea and play some sweet chin music.

You’ll definitely be on the upswing from here.
