Anyone have the HLG 350R light and have the driver mounted outside the tent?

I have emailed HLG about this. Unfortunately they dont have a kit to extend the wiring, but gave me a few links for some parts to order, but basically you gotta piece meal it…

I was having the same issue. Takes a lot of know how to splice and wire the driver on the 350r. I keep one of my small fans blowing up directly at it.

FWIW, I have an HLG 600 rspec running at 400w and just this grow mounted the driver remotely. The driver does get hot, but the lights get hotter. So now the driver sits in front of my exhaust duct for passive cooling into my lung room, and I still have a fan blowing on the light to help with canopy heat. Was it worth the hassle? I don’t think so, but it’s even more hassle to put it back together
