HLG 260 Rspec v2 hanging height and dim or no dim

I run my HLG XL 260’s about 18" above the canopy on click #8 on the potentiometer about 230 watts
My DLI is about 43-46
I have run them as close as 8" with no issues before it really depends on your setup and goals throughout the stages of growth
