Hey guys. Back for my 2nd grow. My first super skunk grow was a success thanks to the help of many of you in here so thank you for that. Im kicking off my 2nd grow. Im only doing 1 plant this time since I only have 2 sf 1000 lights so after all the feedback for optimum yields I chose to go with 1 plant.
Well I’m now exactly 1 week since the plant has popped from the soil. I noticed the 2nd blade leaves are curling inwards. I know seedling stage is a pivotal stage so I was to make sure I’m doing everything correct. I hace 1 sf1000 light positioned 24 inches above the canopy at 80%. This ready to about 230 PPFD on the canopy, I read i was supposed to aim for somewhere between 200-400 for seedlings. Ive been watering every or every other day depending on how the soil feels. Watering has been no more than 20mL of water at a time in a circular motion towards the outside to promote roots to stretch to the water. Could the curling be from heat stress or overwatering or is this just as normal thing? Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks

Hey yall quick inquiry,
I’m on day 13 of the grow and for the most part my seedling is looking great. Although I dont really think its a big deal I noticed some twisting at the tips of the leaves. I’m not too worried about it but just more curious as to why this could be happening.
Hey yall I have some questions regarding light distance and what not. So ive been doing a ton of research and have gotten some general marks of where you want your lights to be situated. For a seedling the goal is to achieve 200-400 PPFD to the plants canopy. I tried to figure out the same measurement in lux but I gave up on that due to the different kind of spectrums and what not. Anyway in regards to the SF1000 the chart on spider farmers website recommends that for seedlings the light should be hung 25-30" from the canopy at 40-60%. Now I tried a combination of these heights and none of which even came close to achieving the bottom mark of 200 PPFD. Now either spider farmers chart is wildly inaccurate or what I’m using to measure is wildly inaccurate(im using the photon app with a diffuser which seems to be pretty accurate according to people who tested it against a par meter). So that leaves me now scratching my head a where the hell my light should actually be. To achieve 250ppfd where I am now my light is 16" from the canopy at 60% and that seems a bit excessive to me. Any suggestions or insights are greatly appreciated.
You might want to try and get your RH up to around 70 for a seedling. Just a thought. Hindi Kush is one of my favorite strains. Enjoy.
Thanks for the information brother, I will check it out !
Hey guys quick question. In week 4 of the grow I noticed some of the leaves have almost a wet appearance to them. Kind of glossy a bit when the light reflects off of them. I havent sprayed them with anything and they have been given nothing by GreenGro biologicals dry amendments(green aminos and pridelands veg). Im curious as to what this could be?
Hey guys update here. So going off of some input I received and I actually spoke to the rep from GreenGro i went WAY too hard on nutrients early. Looks like I have too much Nitrogen and potentially not enough Potassium. I know that now so it will be ph water for the next few weeks. However i just want to 100% rule out any potential bug issues that might be going on. I have some up close shots I’m not sure whats going on with some of the leaves. Is this from the overfeeding issue or could this be another problem, potentially bugs?
