Higrade thc tester

Anyone used or seen this? It’s a lense /app that is meant to tell you a rough idea of your thc levels.

That’s a pretty cool concept. I don’t know how it could tell anything other than the amount of trichomes and what stage of production they are in.

I don’t know yet either I’m just starting to look at it.
The local grow shop guy also has a independent tester that does contract work out of his store.
Take a sample and he will email you results (20$) per sample and this is 80$ at his store.
Said he did 2 tests and it came back within 1% accuracy

What do some of the pros on here think?

Im skeptical. I believe @DoobieNoobie or someone mentiond it once. But prolly was someone else. Anything other then lab testing is probably not as accurate as advertised

Someone else here bought one. I think it was @Whodat66. But can’t be certain. To me that one isn’t much more than an eye balled guess. If I wanted at home testing for reasonable price it would be the t_check. Otherwise lab testing is for sure the only really accurate method.

It looked like there was a way to try it free.

@Bogleg have you checked this out?

I’m skeptical! It has a money back guarantee. Definitely intrigued

@dbrn32 the free version doesn’t really work.
It just sais it’s good bud mid grade bud or not good bud and doesn’t use the microscope.

Dang that’s a bit pricey

But it’s actually doing something more than looking at it. You take a sample use a included solvent then place it on the slide and insert into the device. I bet it’s a lot closer to accurate than other methods excluding lab tests of course.

I just tagged bogleg because I know he had some product lab tested.

I have looked at those before and am very interested in them. At $50 a pop to get a sample tested for both cannabinoids and terpenes (so $100 for each sample really), it might make sense to purchase it if it works.

I would think even if it’s close would be valuable to someone who wanted the data for comparative purposes. You could at least tell how any changes you were making within your grow turned up in your product.

That was me. I still have it and use it. I actually really like it because it will grade my dried buds.

Cool, looks like just a scope the look at the trics with an app to tell basic info…
I use a T-Check, cost was a bit but I’ve had good results, have to dilute the sample sometime to get a reading but it works for me… for dosing edibles I feel it’s a must.

I love mine, worth every penny! Took a few samples to get the hang of it but it made the gummies and brownies manageable, before I got it ,couldn’t eat them, no good or Way too strong… this has helped big time
