High ph in unpotted super soil

How do I adjust ph down in unpotted soil mix for super soil. I have lamotte ph soil kit. Are there any amendments I can add… or should I add more ph balanced soil. Or add water with ph 5.5 water? What should I do… I’m so nervous about this mix… or am i thinking too hard about something that’s simple. I made about 16 gallons worth

Im no PH Guru, but I think you could just start watering with lower PH water.

I think in another post you said you will let it cook, a lot can happen whole this goes on.

I never check soil PH when I mix organic soil. Hell, I don’t PH my water either.

Dolomite lime mixed into the soil will buffer it to a lower value. I see no reason why this wouldn’t be organic, too.

Adding lime increases ph right? I want to bring it down. Yes, I have organic dolomite … if I add a little more Epsom salt carefully, will that decrease soil alkaline to neutral? I think I’ll water with ph on low side 5.5 a couple times and test runoff. Monitor and pray…lol… I do think I should relax and let the cook happen and stop worrying… I did all the right things I think…lol

Dolomite lime will lower ph not raise it

It will do both. If soil is above 7 it will lower it, if it is below 7 it will raise it.
