Will seeds from a feminized gold leaf turned hermorphidite sprout? If so, would those seeds be feminized?
Seeds from a hermie plant tend to carry forward the hermie trait. They will be regular (non-feminized) seeds.
I was under the impression that if a female plant pollinates itself then the resulting seeds will be feminized. Isn’t that essentially how feminized seeds are made? If pollenated by a true male then they will be regular. I may be wrong…usually am. Lol
But the hermie trait will carry forward. So depending on what turned the plant the seeds may be worthless. If it was a severe type of stress the seeds might not turn under normal conditions.
I had a GG4 herm on me and so far the seeds have been fem… now that being said one did pass on the herm but it also crossed a few others and they all been fem
Yes, but only where colloidal silver or silver thiosulfate is used is my understanding of how it works.
Cool.
Thanks MWG
My 4-2022 garden grown seeds (recovered 7-1-2022 and just germinated), resulted in 45%males pulled for termination. No Idea who’s pollen, if Auto or Femed. Just my bag seeds, now.
