Hermie or male in early flowering

When this started flowering I swear I thought it was a female with all the hairs I saw initially, but have left it to flower more, it’s definitely got make parts now. So is it really a male or hermie? If it matters. It’s supposed to be a ruderalis indica strain, but none of the seeds ended up being auto flower n another site with sane seeds said 50/50 chance of auto flower. Also, it’s the only plant I got the just grew tall straight up. Every other plant was bushy n all females. Do tall straight non bushy plants mean males or hermies??

Straight up male unfortunately…. Bag it and get it out of there if there are other plants nearby.

What does a hermie look like for future reference. Does it have flower sites in one part n make buds on another? I swear it started with white hairs

I agree, that is a male. I looked for pistils, don’t see any. Sometimes new growth around flower sites can look like pistils.

Yup thats a boy. The ‘hairs’ u see look more like ‘stipules’ (or whatever they called) then pistils. Pistils are less stiff, more curvy. And they start out white then go orange. Those look green.

Male all the way. A Hermie usually is a female plant that has buds growing and a few male pollen sacks poking out of the buds or at a node or two. Usually happens at a later stage of flowering. Sometimes you can just remove the male parts. If it happens earlier in flower the whole plant will most likely need to be removed.

@Odaharry hermie like this. The nanners will most likely look yellowish compared to rest.

Yo brother… Thanks for this… You and a few others have confirmed this as well. I have removed the plant as I have another 2 females in there as well. All 3 plants were put through same conditions and feeding and only 1 hermied. The other 2 are of trusted genetics. In conclusion this hermied aunty was a seed from a hermied plant as it was most likely in its genes to hermie.
