Is this too strong for clones? If not, what height distance would you recommend? And how long can they stay in the dome?

That’s what I use. Not too much heat either

It’s fine. I use a similar one. U can keep that light pretty close. A keep mine about 5 inches away.

I use the same, 125w CFL. It’s about 1" from top of dome
