Just Transplanted to 7 Gallon Pots today started growing in June (Already short growing season and low Yields but I do it for the love and experience also the dark spots make me nervous any help or suggestions?? ) @Jmesser80 @Countryboyjvd1971
miracle grow nute burn as most likely culprit. Newbie mistake. no big deal
I have a few easy questions that could help determine other potential causes such as sun stroke
What’s your approximate location?
is the one in the ground doing it too?
City water or well water?
Do you pH your water? This will help you to identify the problem!
I will say phosphorus defiency… They are big enough for some food :), but I don’t know how hot is that soil

But what you ph of your off @Itsvizzle
[/quote]you have to stop putting the weed in whatever you’re using to type or dictate your updates bro
Did you mean “put what the pH of your runoff is?”
I concur. I intentionally let my seedlings go so long in straight ProMix as to not overgrow their temporary indoor home before feeding them and then wondered why all the leaves were turning yellow and dying once I got them outside. They were starving for the N-P-K & CaMa+ in a major way. They’re dong great now though once that was corrected.
My first inclination would be to determine what the PH of your water is going in. This is one of the most crucial parts of growing in my opinion. If your PH is out of whack it can create issues in your grow.
It’s hard to determine what is wrong with them without knowing where your PH is at. It could be that they are just hungry since you stated you haven’t given them any nutrients (besides what’s in the miracle grow soil) or it could be that because your PH isn’t in the correct area that the plants are not able to uptake the nutrients it needs.
I would suggest purchasing a PH meter and start from there.
Let some other members comment as well, they might have some other suggestions to help you out as well.
No i meant what’s the ph of the runoff lol @Willd
lol I need to start proof reading lol
It’s the smoke man it too good willd
The one in the ground and other 7 Gallon Pot are ok. No burns or anything just these three of five plants also should and can I cut the browning leaves off yes? @Jmesser80
I usualy only take leafs off if they are too far gone but that others may suggest to take them off. I would let some others comment just to be safe.
I agree with @Jmesser80. I can’t really tell from the pics whether they have a ton of leaves or not. If they’re really bushy you can certainly just get rid of damaged ones.
