Help. New grower - do they need nutrients when grown in fox farms? are they supposed to look like this?

Hello,
I am in the middle of my first grow and looking for a status check. Things were cruising along perfectly until a couple of days ago. The plants are changing and I am confused by so many books/photos/types of grow. Please weigh in on how they look . I think my dog may have barely chewed a couple of leaves off as I see a few low level stems that no longer have a leaf ;( how far should the lighting be? Is it ok that water drops get on the leaves when I water? I see a few brown spots and one leaf has a curly edge. The ph fluctuates between 6-7.7 and I am not sure why? I used growtime for the first time 2 days ago. Do the plants need it if they are in fox farms ocean soil? Thank you!

I have not tested
-Method used to measure PH and TDS
orange meter from Amazon that tests light, ph and moisture
-Indoor -
11 pots have a whole bedroom but use about 4 x4 space. No tent. They have their own space.
-Light system - I bought this 2.5 weeks ago. Previously I had multiple individual cheap o lights from Amazon.

When you swapped to you new light, did you start a the lowest setting comparable to your old lights? Looks like a little bit of shock from changing lights, what your distance to canopy?

Thank you!

I just turned on the light and placed it 18” above the canopy. I also went from 18/6 to 24/0 when I changed the light. It would make sense they are shocked. I did not think to introduce the light in intervals or slowly.

Once I added the new light the plants grew towards it rapidly and the light is only about 8” away in some spots now.
I will be raising the light today.
Should I try less light and β€˜or less time with the light on?
I have to agree that the changes started when I added the strong light. It seems

They look good the leaf curled looks like light maybe to close .try adjusting the lights and see ifthat helps. I usually kept my lights 24in from canopy

Your light should have a specific guide, that gives light distance for plant stages. My guess with your light would 14-16”.

I am relatively new. So @ChittyChittyBangin can verify 18/6 would be best for now.

Aside from the shocked growth. They look good.

Looks like they a luxurious room!

You can run 24 if you would like, but if you were running 18/6 i would def swap back to that. Download the photone app and that will help you dial in your lights.
