I don’t have any pics yet but I’m pretty sure it’s Bud rot. Just looking for advice on what to do to get rid of it

If it is bud rot cut it out and spray the plant with some hydrogen peroxide and water at lights off.

I think it is a cup to 1 gal of water.

It may, IMO I would treat the others also the spores can travel.
