Help from anyone! First grow! Seedlings

Ok guys… Decided tonight to remove one set of fan leaves off each plant that were on top blocking light! Each set was bigger than my hand! See pics…
Also I can not recommend the Govee Smart Plugs enough! They work perfect! They turn my lights on every morning and off every night! I love them! Will start training very soon and will probably need help/questions. So talk to y’all soon! Thanks again! :two_hearts:

@The_Chef If you look at the picture I just posted of the plant, I just was looking at it and noticed a fly just chilling on the leaf! Do you see it, lol! A fly shouldn’t hurt them right?

:joy: I do now. He won’t hurt anything lol. Funny though that you saw that.

Hi, im new, but ive seen these little tiny white dots on my leaves. Just trying to be cautious. Can you check your leaf with a microscope . I enlarged your picture, noticed this

@TT Yes you can check your leaves with a microscope! Also I would if I was you. It could be just powdery mildew or… spider mites! Either way I would do a Neem oil Spray once a week (at lights out!) if you’re still in veg. stage. Neem oil will help with both issues (mildew & mites, gnats, ect.) But like I said this is only for veg stage since Neem Oil would not be great sprayed if you are already in flowering. But others will be around soon for some more expert help!

@The_Chef @BigItch @OGIncognito @PurpNGold74 @Flitme @Fieldofdreams @Duh-BanjoPicker Just tagged as many as I could! These are the REAL EXPERTS… Maybe they can also help…(see post above about the question from TT) Thanks guys!

Edit: OMG! Just realized these are my leaves correct @TT ! Hmmmm. I have to go examine mine now! Am I in trouble?!!

Are you using a humidifier?
Looks like over spray or tap water in a humidifier.

@BigItch Can’t believe I didn’t even notice they were my own leaves! But no I’m not using a humidifier since humidity stays around 60 or so. I had just done a pretty good Neen Oil Spray like the night before! Think it could be from that? I’ve never seen a bug ( beside a fly!) & I am only watering with distilled water

It’s definitely Neem oil.
What makes you use that ?
Are you going in and out with your plants? If so what will you use in flower?
I personally don’t like neem oil as a weekly treatment because of the residue it leaves behind. I believe it drags to flower and has a taste even after bud wash.
I don’t have data to support that, just my taste buds.
Since you are using that I would suggest a good hose down before you flip to flower.

@BigItch Only reason I use it is just to be on the safe side as far as gnats or any bugs plus was told it was good to prevent mildew?! Now come flowering stage, what will I use is the question :interrobang: Was thinking Captain Jacks Dead Bug Spray? Or should I completely stop the weekly treatments unless I notice an issue? Thanks for the help! I definitely will do a wash off with just plain water correct? Also have not been moving them outside! Only inside plants!

@TT Good eyes! Had me freaking out for a second! Thanks for noticing!

If you’re not bringing your plants outside. I wouldn’t use anything unless you notice bugs. The only time I spray is if I’m bringing in a new clone which gets isolated for 2 weeks or it’s an outdoor grow.
I rinse with a sprayer and hose. I don’t pH the water or anything for a one time rinse. Although this is outdoors. Indoors I would use a spray bottle with distilled water.

@Tdevine if you moisten the white spots do they smear or disappear? That’ll give you further confirmation it’s just Neem residue. If you don’t have any active infestation I’d recommend quitting the application. I like the idea of a clean smoke. All Natural lol

That was great! They did just disappear! Think I will quit the applications of Neem Oil… Y’all are the best! I appreciate all of you! Thanks to all! :two_hearts:

@Tdevine As they mature and you continue defoliation plucking you’ll pull those fans outta there. A bud wash might not be a bad idea either or let it ride. You don’t have flower sites yet right? That’s the important area.
