Help counting nodes for trimming and topping

Hi again! Newbies coming back for some more advice!

The nodes on these plants are very close and we arent sure where we should start. Theres multiple at the same level on the plant. Can someone advise on which branch would be which? Thanks!

These are femenized plants.

Every alternating set of stems is a node some strains only grow 1 sided nodes after the first few but they still count

Do you think its too late to top?

If they aren’t autos, you can top them any time before you flip to flower light cycle.

Doesn’t look too late from here - not seeing any signs of preflower. As @Newt said, if they’re photoperiods, you can top any time while it’s still in veg. For autos, I’d be looking out for white pistils before I topped, but seeing none from here, I’d say it’s good to hack at!

The stems are so close together i just dont want to go too low

You’d have to go all the way to the first set of branches to be going “too low.”

I’d cut at the red line. Others may go as low as the blue line. Personal preference I think.

Red line is about where I’d go as well.
