Hellraiser grows Gorilla Glue and other stuff

Cvault says the 8 liter will hold a pound, but I’ll use one cvault per plant, so the most I’ll put in there is more like half of a pound.

Would the 350r be the best light to purchase or something else you suggest @Hellraiser

The HLG 350r is really hard to beat for the price. Another light to check out if you’re looking for the absolute best is the ChilLED Tech Growcraft X3 330, love the design of that light, but cost is more ($729) and long lead times of up to 45 days.

They are about the same power - 330 watts, both have 3 year warranty, both are made in the USA, the X3 has a bit better coverage because of the bar design over the quantum board design (less gaps between LEDs).

Either one is an awesome light for a 2x4, can’t go wrong either way.

She’s 8 weeks old on Tuesday. I’ve been doing LST and she’s only 7 1/2 inches tall. Stalk is nice and thick. Any reason I shouldn’t flip the lights? I’d like to have harvest by Christmas.

For a community jar I just ordered a oxo sugar container. IMO very nice super airtight and easy to open for the table. Not good at copying pictures or I would. Peace

That’s nice air cooled reflector, great for 1000 watt MH/HPS as long as you have somewhere to vent the hot air.

@Hellraiser you ever try these

@Hellraiser Little off topic but thought the guru could help me out.
First attempt at bubble hash. Multiple videos said dry in cardboard as it helps pull the moisture out. This seems it going to be problematic as it sticks like glue to the cardboard.

  1. How do you dry it
  2. Do you cure it after drying

I think @Killadruid does bubble hash…well use too anyways before he practically went commercial… lol

No, have not tried those but very cool idea.

I dry my bubble hash in the freezer on parchment paper, yeah - been there with the cardboard. I also squeeze out a lot of water (with a towel) from the wet kief before removing from the screen.

And the HLG UVA 30 is sold out in 4 days. LOL, can’t snooze on HLG products. My second UVA light should delivered today.

Good weekend here in madvapor-land. Cleaned out my alternate location for my 4x4 that will be here later this week! Yep…I’m all in now. Need to do a few more things to the room which will happen this weekend and I should be up and running. Last thing I’ll need is a fan. I already have the Infinity 6" picked out…little more expensive…but seems to be highly recommended. I celebrated by grilled a ton of meat on the Weber and smoking a Habano (after all the cigar porn posted last week :joy:). Good times.

My cheap moisture meter stopped working, put it into a freshly watered pot last week and it said it was totally dry, it had been acting wonky for a little bit, Since I’ve been relying on the moisture meter to help check my screened plants, I thought I would buy a better one. Got this delivered today, seems way better quality than what I had and the cool thing is you can calibrate it to your potting soil/mix.

Does brand name matter on MH/HPS bulbs? I see vivosun and ipower all over Amazon for ~$15 and then there’s other brands for slightly more…much difference between them? I’ll be looking to get spares and lower wattage bulbs as well. @Hellraiser

When do ya’ll start to defoliate your plants during flower? I’ve been trimming the under foliage but haven’t done a super yet.

I’ve seen a lot of people on here talk about doing a major defoliation at day 21 in flower, but I don’t know the science behind that number.

No, not much difference, I always used the cheap MH bulbs and expensive HPS bulbs as the eyehortilux super HPS has been the king of HPS bulbs for a long time with a much better spectrum (with added blue) than cheap HPS bulbs.
