Having trouble getting temp down in dry room

Im having an issue today getting temp down to normal range. Temp is normally 60-70 in here. The only way i have to cool things off is by opening the door. I know that light is bad for them and maybe the outside air too but nit sure what else to do? Humidity stays pretty much between 50 and 60.

Yes light can breakdown trichomes but I dont think the extent is as it might seem. If it was the plant would grow without trichomes. Just a few days ago she was in all kinds of light, was it bad for the trikes then? Do what you need to do to get temp right. Keep that RH up tho.

Yeah so i lost my humidity when i opened the door it went down to 43. I have everything i need to combat the cold, and both high and low humidity but nothing for the heat. I shut the door up and going to have to wait for temp to drop i guess. Its honestly giving me anxiety because the room was stable for three days before harvest and now my heat is over 80. Hopefully it’s a temporary thing.

Think youll be ok. Its nerve racking right? What has changed that has the temp so high today?

Go for the middle and leave the door only part way open?

Im not sure. It’s 67 out which has been pretty close to par. Its bugging me though

I been looking at portable small air conditioners but they are only desk size im not sure it will help.

Think youd get better bang for your buck with insulation, and ventilation.

Temp came down after about 45 mins to 69 which is where it’s sitting now 57 RH. Not entirely sure why the temp spiked for an hour or so. Outdoor temp was pretty much 67 all day.

I would put a fan in that opening up top blowing out. Hot air always rises…you’ll never get it below ambient temps without AC tho… as far as light getting in I don’t think that’s enough light to mess anything up, going off that pic with the door open. You can increase humidity with something as simple as hanging some wet towels.
I can rarely get my drying environment just right but just do the best you can. If they’re drying too fast maybe put them in brown paper bags to slow it down a bit

Thank you and thanks for all advice. I bank all of it to memory. I actually picked this string of ten days to try and dry because the temps are supposed to be 63-69 day and 49-56 at night. I figured that was how i would counter the heat. Im not sure what it was, maybe my fan and humidifier running at the same time gave off heat. That would seem unlikely I think. Like you say I can only do my best.

You can add another fan to ur room just make sure ur fans dont blow directly on to the flowers otherwise they will dry out to quickly
