Harvest just the tops !?can I ¿

What up quarantiners. I’m James. I been on here for a while. I got a plant I want to harvest the tops because they are so done with many amber trichomes will it kill or stunt the growth of the rest of the buds or stress the plant too much no more will grow. She’s a beautiful girl with tons of frost

They look beautiful! People selective harvest all the time without ill effects.

Beautiful shot of the nugs might I say, but yes you can harvest the main colas if you’d like and give the rest a bit more time to finish off or fill out. Would you mind posting a photo of the plant as a whole.

I do it all the time. I had 5 blueberry that I cut over the space of a week. Just couldn’t face all that trimming in one go and my plants were fine. You’re so close with the rest that it won’t make that much difference anyway :sunglasses:

I agree with the above. You can harvest the mature buds and let the others finish out :v:

This is the middle of the plant really and the lower buds. I guess I’m teaching myself lessons here. I should of got rid of a lot of the middle shoots and I should of lollipops a lot higher. This plant smells so good though. It’s the only one I don’t have a cut of :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

I have been playing with different shapes. Like mainline different ways but I’m just sticking with the Nugbuckets method. Atleast I will get even sized buds the entire plant. I think it’s like 5x I gotta top the plant and I will have 16 main colas I wanna see in a 4x4 can I fit 6 of those with 16 colas in a
5 nursery pot im going to use the tomato ring this time also. I’ve never used one before but I was re reading some older material and I went over it and over it. Brushing up and it just seems like why did I never use that to begin with? AnywY. Thanks all.

I’m a firm believer in selective harvesting. I’ve done that the last two grows. I cut my first buds when mostly cloudy 70/30 the 30 being clear. This is the energetic cut. Then my second cutting it’s 70/30. The 30 being amber. This is more couch lock. Then my third I let go all the way amber. It’s what I call sleepy  weed. Full body relaxing high. :sunglasses::call_me_hand::v:

Thank you sir yes indeed it is a couch lock high. Curing up beautifully in the jars. I have another 2 beauties ready. They are in the midst of a flush out. They have 4 days left of flush than I will do 2 says darkness then chop. I have a mac1 and another willies cake and it’s the one I decided to keep. Don’t ask what o was thinking. It looked the best in vege and it grew fastest and I really liked the lead structure. The mac1 is 55 days in to flower and the willies cake is 65 days into flower. I’m pretty positive about the mac1 going 65 and willie going 75 because I flowers out a similar pheno and it went 75 the mac1 is from copycat genetics and he assured me it’s 65 days plant. So. I’m in coco. Feeding. Floraflex nutrients EC. 2.4-2.6 With A PH OF around 6.0 ish my Temps are mid 70s my rh mid40s how long should I be flushing for if I water to run off every time and I also add slf100 every watering. Is 10 says too much ??cocoloco is the substrate.the green buds are mac1 the purple is willies cake Thanks for the help folks.

This is my vege tent. I have a bunch of different genetics in here I have been feeding everyone in the vege tent power SI, calmag plus General organics and floraflex nutrients ec 1.6-2.0
At a ph of 6.0 everyone is in coco with perlite. Temps are 72 rh 55% I use mammoth microbes great white myco and real growers recharge.
My questions how do they look. They look a little off to me maybe I’m trippin. Why say all you. ???
