Has anyone used this before? Would this be similar to earthdust as far as living soil? Any feed back is appreciated! I’m looking into myself

I like happy frog as a seedling starter… I feel like the soil burns less than fox farms ocean forest soil. The added microbes are a good thing, I manually add microbes throughout my entire grow. I dont think it’ll be a equal to living soil though

Products like Urb and Recharge can also be used to add microbes to your soil.
Cannabis prefers only a slightly acidic soil and slightly lower in hydro. Blueberries, rhododendrons and the like prefer way more acidic soils.
So is it similar to earth dust soil? I have never used earth dust but I would say absolutely not. Most of us use nutrients and microbes (fungi & bacteria supplements) separately.
Now that Earth Dust is no longer available, I think some have moved to Gaia Green and of course there is Build A Soil.
I grow in coco and use Jacks so I am a long way from living soil. However I use and recommend using microbes. I use Great White, Tribus, FishSh’t, Voodoo Juice and Piranha

I use myco+. I believe is similar to great white and didn’t know about earthdust not being available people must have really stocked up.

I was disappointed in hearing that about a month? ago. I wanted to give it try. I started in soil and thought returning to it using Earth Dust would be interesting.

Mykos is different than microbes. Mycos is a beneficial fungus and microbes are beneficial bacteria that ingest nutrients and poop them back out in a form that is more bioavailable to the plant.

I use microbes as a generic term for fungi and bacteria in general.

This isn’t in the normal happy frog soil. This is happy frog fertilizer not sure if you noticed is two different things.

The Green Sunshine Co is out of business, it’s time to try something new for me. I was already starting to look around for a change anyway but I didn’t want to do it until I got settled into the new growroom and it’s STILL not finished much less being settled in
