GSC Auto / Hydro DWC / Seedling dying?

Hi All,

I recently experienced an issue with a GSC auto from ILGM during the seedling stage. I’m somewhat confused on her downfall. Through process of elimination on potential issues, nutrient toxicity is the only reasonable conclusion I came to. This was the first auto seed I’ve attempted; below are some environmental conditions & pictures. Thanks in advance for you help!

Water level Needs to be 1" below net pot…
Overwatering issue’s and yes you can overwater in hydro… :+1:

Thanks! Do you think the PPM/Nutrient level at that stage caused any issue or was it solely from over-watering by having the H20 level too high over the mesh pot?

No , ppm and ph are in good shape…
You can bump up to 200 t 275 ppm in 1 to 2 weeks…

Peachy :sunglasses: In your opinion… is it worth seeing if this one will survive & get back on track? OR should I scrap this seedling because of the existing damage on the 1st set of true leaves and start over?

Don’t think the baby is dead…yet. Something was too strong as lower burnt leaf indicates. Equipment listed is good to go…for now. Suggest you consider a stronger full grow light. Current light will work for a few weeks.
Be sure the aeration is good and moves the water. Instead of the rockwool cube, checkout rooter starting plugs. Really good stuff. Holds moisture but not nuff to drown or rot as rockwool will. Critical to check PH daily. Let it go for a few days and it will be out of whack big time. Also, until roots get good runners down to the mist/water…it’s a good idea to water from the top twice a day. Also good root simulator will help lots.
good luck

No reason to start over , plants can take alot of abuse and bounce back…
