Interesting question I would need to know more details about your system but almost all hydro systems require nutrients either from organic teas bottled nutes powders or from pond fish etc… The clay pebbles have several names hydroton Lecca hydrocorn but all serve same purpose which is a substrate for root head and to keep light off roots and out of res (algae control)

I got one plant in dirt can I trains plant to clay paddets in a outside hydro system is the clay paddets is all I need for plant food?

No way, you’ll need way more than just clay to feed your plant!

What do I need to start plant and to finish up

Hydroponic nutrients, something like General Hydroponic nutrients, or Fox Farm Nutrients, or even the ILGM Nutrients. They will give you a full feeding schedule for your plants
