i have an odd question, i have a Goldleaf in my tent and when my grow light cuts off i can smell the plant coming thru the vent in my room, but when my light is on i cant smell anything coming thru the vent… any idea why?

At a guess, the lower temp when the light is off means the exhaust fan runs slower. Alternatively, it could be the photons from the light are impacting the smellocules and sending them into a higher energy state. If that’s the case you won’t be able to smell anything unless you push your nose into the 4th dimension. Be careful if you try that. I know a guy who come back too hasty and still can’t tell French toast from dog farts. The 4th dimension is slippery that way.

I don’t know. That’s interesting. When I had the northern Lights going in the 2x2 the whole laundry room and garage smelled like it but just because I drug the duct through the door out into the garage. But it smelled all day and night! LOL!
I haven’t grown out a Gold Leaf yet so maybe it’s just a plant thing?
My niece has one going but it’s in the same room with like 6 other strains starting too! LOL!
It’s a beast little plant though.

It’s entirely anecdotal but I’ve heard lots of people say plants smell stinkier after lights out. No idea if that’s the case or if it’s just incidental (as suggested, perhaps less air exchange is needed to mitigate high temperatures during lights on, so the odor accumulates more before the exhaust happens).

Terpines creation is done while lights are out. Thats why its always good 2 harvest in the dark or after a 48h hour dark period. Thats my put

Yeah, I sampled her…haven’t smoked for 2 years, first time I smoked her I got really paranoid…second time was really mellow and a full body high…couch lock and munchies…great high!
Just flipped my gold leaf last week, already showing pistils…I lollipopped her like 3 weeks ago…she has the whole tent to herself…
And my Bruce banner is lookin good and up-potted my runtz to a 3gallon yesterday

I don’t think I have any BB but I might. She gave me a bunch of seeds when she got her first order. I hope the Acapulco Gold she gave me grows out nicely. I’m half tempted to grow it outdoors this summer!
She actually gave me a couple of each of her beans when she got them. i know there’s a Chiquita Banana in there too!

Just read up on the Chiquita banana strain, from what I read, it says thc levels of 33% I’d definitely like to try that!

ILGM has the CB but they call it something else because apparently Chiquita sued somebody in the past over it. I think the mention it in the write up. Some sell it by that name, some by other, similar names. And some breeders tweak the hybrid too further clouding the strain.
But my niece IS bananas so I understand the draw! LOL!

I’ve lived in chicks beach for 20 years and never had any problems with thieves…but there is a lot of teens that congregate around my house…
Already got charged last year for punching one of them…thought he was an adult…
