Granddaddy Purple trimming

This Granddaddy Purple is at about 15 weeks. It wasn’t flowering so I cut the light to 12/12.
I wasn’t paying much attention to it, just watering and Tiger Bloom. My question is should I trim all the lower small buds and branches or just leave it?

I would clean up around the bottom of the plant closest to the pot. That will help with your air flow. Nice plant

I’d take most fan leaves with stems well over an inch. Leave a few that don’t cover buds. You don’t wanna strip her. Just open her up for better light penetration. And air flow.

Looks good , As the grow moves forward you might try to tuck some of the larger fan leafs. My experience with grand daddy purple they do have some big fat fan leafs.

A little over 17 weeks growing. Should I trim any more or wait?

Thats a loaded question with many opinions. Me i like to strip the bottom 1/3 in its entirety. Big defol week b4 flip, another on day 21. Alot do day 42 of flower but i skip that one
