Got heavy lights?

It’s not easy for me to adjust the height of my HLG scorpion so I made a few changes & it helps me. Here’s some pics I hope make sense of what I’ve done.

I pull on the rope with one hand above the final ratchet & take up the slack with the other. Before I did this I had to unzip the sides of the tent, stand on a chair & blindly adjust the light by reaching inside & pulling till I thought it was about right. Now I can do it while watching the height. I put one on each side of the tent & with the double pully’s it also makes the load lighter.

Pulleys make for an easy method of adjusting height on all sorts of things - never even occurred to me to use them on my lights. Great thinking, and thanks for the tip. :v::100:
