Going photo questions

Going to photos to get bigger harvest. I got some Durban poison fems and dropped them on Valentine’s Day. My plan to veg for 7 weeks while my autos finish up. My problem and question is these are growing faster than my autos did and it’s time to repot. They have reached the edge of the pot but I only have room for 2 of them if I repot. Can I wait to repot a photo? If growth keeps up I will have my hands full with a 7 week veg.

I cant see the pots too well, but I am thinking they are plenty big to grow those little ones for some more time. You can train them and/or top them along the way to keep them in check.

Pots are 1 gallon. Right now I only have some 3 gallon pots available to me. Ultimately they will end up in 5 gallon bags.

In that case, I would keep them in the 1’s for a bit, and when you’re ready, jump to the 5’s, but that’s me and I dont like transplanting a lot because they get shocked a little bit each time.

Cool. In 3-4 weeks I’ll have room and would prefer to wait as long as I can.

You definitely could pull that off.

One sign that you are waiting too long would be if you saw any roots growing out.

I typically dont wait that long, but if you see that, the plant would obviously like a bigger home.

Just watch her. She will tell you if she needs it. You have plenty of time.

Made a little room and moved 2 to 3 gallon pots and I went ahead and topped them. These sativas stretch a lot more than I am used to pretty sure it’s going to end up a big mess. Lol. I will have to train a lot to keep them under control.

Lookin good. Just out of curiosity, why does your soil look so much different in the last two sets of photos? What’d you put on it? I’m always trying to learn more.

It’s some demascus earth. To keep any bugs from laying eggs in the soil.

Nice! Does it work pretty well for you?

It has so far. I had some bugs last year and have not since then. Sometimes I put them outside so I need to treat so they don’t take over my closet.

I had bugs early in this grow. I dont want them again. I’m trying much better soil, and I want to learn preventatives like this.

One month ago they were at the seed bank. Getting ready to spread them out.

This one I topped then topped again. It’s still in the 1 gallon pot.

That’s funny.

Last night I was talking to my wife about it, telling her I want to pick some up and pronounced it the way of the first spelling and she corrected the pronunciation to the second spelling.

It’s like the sauce named worcestershire.

Best thing is to stay on top of Photo plants or you will need a machete to get through the canopy. Trust me I know…:heart_eyes::heart_eyes:
