Girls looking weird

Hello family, so i turn the lights on for my girls an hour ago and this is how they greet me. Do they look weird or this is rookie paranoia.

Maybe. But let me tell u this they usually droop 2 hours before bed. And when i hit the lights on they are fully woke. This is not the norm that is why i was a little worried. Im just a new parent that is all they wont be perfect i know.

i too am still learning. to me the colour looks good. if it aint sleep mode my next guess would be back off the water a bit.? then if not that my next thought would be hmm its not getting much stretch. maybe my light aint got enough power or needs to be raised? but thats just me thinking outloud looking at your pic as i do looking at mine. only trying to help with the brainstorming.

The plants look fine. They will not always be perky and straight out.
I would make sure you aren’t over watering. Other than that keep doing what you are doing
Happy growing…

You’re not alone. I’m doing the Grand Daddy purps Auto Flowers and I’m getting the same look. I’m using a brand new LED light Spider Farmer 4000D at 100% that I’ve never used before and I’m also using Happy Frog Fox Farm organic soil and so far I haven’t augmented with any nutrients or anything as I was advised to not to for the 1st month or so.
Not sure Either…
All I can say is I know from last time I had a lot of problems like light leak issues I thought I put them into veg again and I may have and the HID light burnt Some very slightly…
And the taste was compromised by an unintended very quick dry…
But in the end I have some decent smoke and a few jars of it let’s put it that way and I don’t have to go to the dispensary and buy moldy crap. So let’s have hope and I hope some people here can help both of us with some decent suggestions. All the best man!

Thanks, I would like to know you got your dimmer set to 100% how close is the light. I asked because at 24 inches at 80% dimmer settings my girls turn away from the light.

It May be a genetic thing created by a lot of genetic manipulation but I Don’t Know… I’m speculating because one of my girls is very tall compared to the others n it’s closer to the light that is suspended I’d say 24 to 26 in above the canopy and that one girl is towering above the others relatively and it has the least amount of that effect of curl and the claw effect to the leaves… Not Sure why yet.
I just keep looking for bleaching and I don’t see Any.
I know pH is critical if you got that in balance in whatever methodology you’re using that’s Paramount too.

I think genetics is more involved then we think. Ok thanks for your awesome advice.

All of a sudden I realized that assumption is the mother of all screw-ups.
As I’m sure you know there are so many variables. I’m thinking it could be nitrogen toxicity because I went against everybody’s advice here and listened to a local Nursery guy.
I was advised to use Happy Frog Fox Farm soil in its fullest right out of the bag. Here I’ve seen people say that it should have been cut in half with the Ocean Forest type.
Then I saw people debate that and I read other things so I took a chance. I get the feeling that these people are right Here. I noticed even still after a month-and-a-half the run off after I water turns White when it dries indicating nitrogen Still. I’m going to start flushing it out and see what happens at least a little bit. I also read something on Google about the leaves looking that way curling at the tips from Nitrogen toxicity. So Maybe we shouldn’t blame the fine people at ilgm in any way at all. That said… I don’t know about how genetics could affect health but I’m almost positive it Could Just like in families. The real genetic difference I see in my crop is Some are wider n some are taller… some had already started to flower sooner.
No matter what, when all things are in check Verifiably with meters we should get some really decent medicine out of our efforts!
Like I did Last time with the Fem Blue Cheese.
Do you know for sure you have your nitrogen levels in check?

Absolutely i watch the girls closely and each plant has its likes and dislikes. I give them all the same amount of water to prevent from watering them on there own schedule. And i notice curling tips and i know for a fact that im guilty of under watering not over watering im afraid of over watering. But canabis plants are very resilient i see. But the people of ilgm have been good to me with great advice. I only dealt with one problem so far and that was fungus nat. This is my first grow and its been 7 weeks and i have learned alot.
