I actually studied Bacillus Thuringiensis when I was a Sophomore in College. My Advisor was going to bring over the man so we could talk about this specific bacteria. There was a problem with him getting the ■■■■. The USA changed the rules so he was denied.
I was so disappointed I didn’t get to meet the man that found the bacteria in the soil. I read a ton of Thesis on it and duplicated their experiments. My Advisor thought I created a new virus so it went into the AutoClave over 500 degrees Celsius. I did the experiment again and what the Advisor thought was a new virus was actually the bacteria adapting to the solution. I have never met or heard of someone mention this specific bacteria.
There is one flaw with this bacteria in that it’s only good for a couple of years and insects will adapt and over come it. I did a Senior thesis as a Sophomore. I studied Biochemistry and English Literature with a minor in Creative Writing.
