I’m trying the soak the seed method but as soon as I drop the seed in the shot glass the seed went straight to the bottom is this normal or is it suppose to float?

I have had them do both.
Its not a perfect indicator of anything.
Follow the process.
I usually soak 24 hrs then either a wet paper towel or straight into soil.

Ok I’ll give it some more time then I was just a little worried about the process thanks for the update

I still do the direct plant in moist soil method. Works every time. I put a baggie over the top to keep soil moist.
