Fungus gnats eggs and compost tea

I have a question about fungus gnats. Do their larvae survive compost tea?
I recently made a batch of compost tea utilizing a small amount of IMO.
Now I have fungus gnats. I’ve had them in my house on other plants and in my other tent. Recently however they weren’t in my flower tent. Now they are. So I was curious if the eggs can survive a while brewing.

I don’t see why a fresh brewed tea would kill a fungus gnat. I would think you already had them before introducing the tea.

Using Mosquito Bits helps a lot to reduce/eliminate fungus gnats.

DE works great for soil bearing pest. Till a layer in and water or feed, DE is like a thousand glass shards that destroy their exoskeleton :love_you_gesture:

You can always replenish the microbes Growmie, TPS Billions is the one I use. I would focus on killing those annoying turds and they flourish in wet or moist soil :love_you_gesture:

Cool. Yeah, the Mosquito Bits are safe to use, won’t hurt the roots or the beneficial microbes.

@Bunger64 DE is Diatomaceous earth.
It’s great stuff for dry areas but im unconvinced there’s any benefits to adding it to soil. You can Google “does DE work when wet” and use your own judgment :blush:

It want hurt anything, but Mosquito bits is the best option for larva and a permethrin spray for adults :+1:

Anytime Brother, my first 2 indoor grows were with Happy Frog and loaded with Fungus gnats. A nice top coat of DE in between feedings worked well. I also used mosquito bits tilled in or soaked separately in a container and used the juice :love_you_gesture:
