Yes I guess I was buttter bar, not sure how that came about. Tet was a horrible time, with many young men killed.On the other hand we killed many Vietnamese. We always had a good go with the 2LT. Lol. I enlisted to be a diver, finished AIT and hit E-6 upon completion and got sent to AFG in a scatter unit. Lol. Edit with an SFC I never saw more than once a week. So I was over 23 men. 12 in my unit, including me and 12 from the second unit.
I saw a movie about a diver, Iām sure your equipment was much better. Thank you for you service. I too was an E-6. I spent three tours in Vietnam and spent a year in Thailand. That is where I actually got high for the first timeā¦REALLY HIGH.

Iām not political in general, since I feel most politicians donāt live in the real world. But the great marijuana plant, both the thc and cbd has been an issue for many years. Lots of my brothers went to prison for this. The govt dropped the ball on the covid-19 virus. NOT ACCEPTABLE. This the first time the forum has been fun. God Bless America to you. Iām an atheist.
