My first grow last year ran into November. 
I’m just outside Chicago.
We get frost in October frequently.
I was brain 
storming and came up with using a light weight hunting blind. You can find these used on Craigslist or Marketplace fairly cheap and they’re not too expensive brand new the very lightweight maybe 4 lb 5 lb?

Just make sure your plants are dry before you put this over them or you could have Bud rot issues also one of my plants began to morph because the absolute Darkness I created but it was fine out of 18 Oz only a handful of seeds amazing Harvest that was plushberry.
I would take the seeds and morphine over losing my plant to frost any day.
