@Frescal What kind of soil? and the size of the pots is important too @Jmesser80

What nutrients are you feeding? how much? How often?

What soil? @Frescal looks like nute burn to me?

happy frog

i added the nutrients after they started looking like this

Ive got three just started like 16 days ago in happy frog and they look healthy. @Frescal

How are you checking the pH of your water? You might want to consider calibrating your meter. The only thing left to check is pH and possibly chlorine if you are on municipal water?

Happy Frog is an enriched soils and i’m thinking at the age of your plants it’s just a tad early for adding additional nutrients to the water.

Do you have a TDS meter to check the water and runoff?

@bob31 @Frescal since that is a soiless muxture shouldnt frascal ph to 5.8?

We just covered this in another thread @AMUSED2DEATH but as we learned it is a mix but the forest products and enrichments makes it a soil. Also has dolomite lime in it but it wouldn’t be a bad thing to double check it.

Glass of pH 6.5 water and tablespoon of soil. Wait 5 minutes and check pH of water soil mix.

I have a bag of happy frog here too and I will test mine later to be sure as well.

The topic I’m referring to is txgrowman if you want to search it. His grow journal towards the end.

ph : 6.4
tds: 700-800s
ro water

I did mine also and got 6.4 as well! @Frescal so that is a good sign!

The TDS going in is 700 - 800?

or the runoff?

BTW I was adamant that the pH should have been 5.8 so I learned one too. It’s always good to get everyone on the same page! @AMUSED2DEATH

tge runoff

ok, sounds good. Most of us wait till the plants have about 4-5 nodes (not counting the Cotyledons and the next single leaves) before giving nutrients.

Do you have calibration fluid to double check your pH meter?

yes just calibrated 2 weeks ago

Ok I’m at a loss.

Your TDS is proper. Your pH is correct. Has anything changed since you gave them nutrients?

Are they better or worse?

@Majiktoker brother can you look over this topic and help me out a little?

Yea bro not a problem @bob31

Your having an early stage of phosphorus deficiency as well as cal Mag deficient. You can tell by how the leaves are yellow (calcium ) and you can also tell by how the leaves curl at the tips @Frescal and @bob31 for future reference.

Give them a light feeding and they should bounce back

Thanks @Majiktoker it just seemed odd to me that plants that young would be deficient in ffhf soil.

I’m growing in ffhf myself with no issues. Kinda had me wondering.

Ok thanks brother much appreciated!
