Do you guys think at the rate of growth thatā€™s happening, I can flip in a week? Theyā€™re healthy, alternating nodes, and with a 50% stretch, I believe that I could have that screen filled.

You could ask next week. Lol

The bottom pic wonā€™t fill as much as the top one. If you wait for the bottom pic to fill before flipping, the top pic will have longer colas.

Okā€¦ Lol thatā€™s sensible. Those are actually the same two plants. I just defoliated a little. Theyā€™re ā€œbefore and afterā€. I figured that they would concentrate all the growth to the terminal shoots, now that they donā€™t have to put wasted every into the big fan leafs.

@FloridaSon your profile background pictureā€¦ Is that homosassa springs?

Thanks a lot man. Iā€™m thinking that if I can play my cards right, I can pull a harvest in 14 weeks from seed, with a full screen. Thatā€™s 3x5. And not a problem. Iā€™ve got my uvb bulb that I can pull down for the pictures.

Thanks a lot. I canā€™t wait either! You know its funny, because it took me a lot of trial and error to learn that less is more. I honestly spend less than five minutes a day in there, and maybe fifteen minutes once a week. And most of that time is cleaning up. Iā€™d have to say that is probably the best thing Iā€™ve learned.

Day 37. Well, thereā€™s been a stupid amount of rain here. Sunday it started raining hard at 530 pm, and didnā€™t quit. By 9 pm, I had a flooded front yard. By today, 3/4 of my yard in its entirety is flooded. Averaging between 6 and 16 inches deep. So as luck will have it, it caused electrical issues in one roomā€¦ THE GROW ROOM!!! I was able to get things in somewhat working order. Iā€™m running on only my 1500 watt, the portable a/c, and the fan. I caught it fairly quick too. Everything but the a/c went down at noon today.

So ladies and gentleman, without further ado, I give you veg porn of day 37ā€¦

No, thatā€™s at my favorite swimming hole Salt Springs on State Road 19. It flows into Lake George.

The flat water in the bottom right part of the picture is the main spring. About 12ā€™ deep. 4 holes pushing out brackish water at around 68F.

Lolā€¦I had to go look at the image. I have one on my phone as a background from the bottom of Alexander Springs which flows into the St. Johnā€™s River. My lock screen is of the beginning of the canoe run from Juniper Springs, which also flows into Lake George.

The farthest west I have been for springs is Rainbow Springs. I love tubing down the Rainbow River!

I always prefer seeing them under white light. That purple looks cool, but the best images come under white. Especially when looking for issues.

Beautiful girlsā€¦

Power outage is my biggest concern with going all the way to harvest indoor. A hurricane hitting just right can leave us without power for a week!

Thatā€™s pretty sweet. Iā€™ve never been out there. I should check it out. Ironic you say rainbowā€¦ My girlfriend and I were talking tonight about floating down the river. (I was thinking psilocybin may have a role in that. Lol) I also prefer the white light. I have two inside the room that run simultaneously. One being a mars 300 watt in the blueish spectrum, and a hollandstar 1500 watt cob thatā€™s blurple. I usually shut the 15 down for the pictures, and after being blinded by purple, the mars looks white. I donā€™t really notice the purple in the mars until I bring in the regular white led. The power thing is scary. Especially with the scrogā€¦ I live in a area where I could ease the girls outside without too much concern in a worst case scenario. But it wouldnā€™t be very easy with the screen. Ill get more pictures tomorrow. Get you folks an update.

@Stoneythetiger420 just catching up on your journal, and your scrog is awesome! I like the repurposing of the crib frame. You might want to raise it a tiny bit, though, if you have the room to do so. Speaking from experience, during the stretch, where there is a ā€œYā€ under the screen, she will want to grow up toward the screen still, and may spilt at those junctions. I originally had my screen low as possible, too, then watering became difficult, and then I started splitting branches. Otherwise, looks like a textbook grow :+1:

@elheffe702 I appreciate the feedback. Iā€™ve got the room to slide it up, but it is fixed to the walls with screws. At this point is hate to have disaster strike, and squish my babies. I understand the flowering stretch, and never really thought of the plant swelling as part of the stretch. Of course the part we notice most is the growth spurt upwards. Now youā€™ve got me thinkingā€¦ What if I were to use zip ties at the ā€œYā€ and monitor closely to make sure they donā€™t get too tight, cutting into the stalk?

Day 40. They got a higher dosage of nutrients today.

What Iā€™ve done since is to top early a couple times. It makes the Ys lower, so thereā€™s more branch between it and the screen.
