Probably because they want to sell more. I’ve wondered the same thing though. Also, they may not be assuming you’re using FFOF.

I will have to look again but I think they say to use FFOF.
I my self only use their nutes and organic no nute add soil ?
But I’m guessing your both on point with they want to seek more also they want you to flush it all out a couple times but
So far o have no complaints about the nutes

Right about the flushing do you use the sledgehammer stuff or just flush pH water?
Only water 
And I only use the base trio

yay I just added a cal-mag to the mixture but not their brand. Just picked up something at the local hydro shop but am using the trio.
