Food that makes people happy 😁

There is an assortment of fish;
Snapper, Moses Perch (fingermark), Parrot, Dogfish, I believe the fish you’re referring to is called Blue throated tusk fish
(at least in the Land of Oz) exceptionally good eating.
Speaking of good eating…

I enjoy cooking and baking and I love our dogs. Here they are. Up to no good as usual.

They both have more than a few years on them. Anyway, with covid etc. I started making them dog biscuits. They like them with cooked carrots, peanut butter, bacon fat, beets but their favorite is the simplest. For all you dog lovers , tag others you know of, @AfgVet
Eggs
flour
chicken bouillon
and Fido Vite FlexX
We got a dozen duck eggs from a neighbor yesterday so they got a real treat today.
6 duck eggs
6 cups of AP flour
Tablespoon of Chicken Better than Bouillon (approx) mixed in 3/4 cup of water
1/4C of Fido Vite.
This was a bigger batch than usual. I usually do 4 eggs & 4 cups of flour. Decrease other ingredients accordingly. All by β€œthat feels about right”.
Roll it out flat on parchment paper on a cookie sheet. Cut into squares, strips, whatever and bake 325 - 350 for an 60 - 90 minutes. They should pretty much feel like little bricks when done. They have some serious crunch to them.

Due to the crazy pandemic I bought a traeger pellet grill a few months ago.

Started working out and my son says certain fish is good to eat. So I’ll try the cheap tilapia on grill first before salmon.

Cooking at 160f until internal temp is 145f

Smoking it in a lemon garlic mix.

First time cooking fresh fish.

Excellent purchase @BetrayedSoul, I love to smoke chicken wings in my smoker.
Tilapia is a very underrated fish,
in Oz it is classed as a pest and people are required by law not to throw them back, personally they are 1 of my favourite fresh water fish.

Good vibes and good luck with your cooking experimentation :v:

Nice! How was the end result?

@BStarr the fish turned out great. It’s actually not to bad of a fish. I was expecting a different taste as it is a bottom feeder fish that most wont eat. Just did 1 clove garlic and 2 squeezed lemons for the marinade. Took an hour to cook at 165f and 3 minutes to eat LMAO

We have one around here called a spoon billed catfish. It’s a weird looking fish. But eats very good when properly cooked.:sunglasses::v::call_me_hand:
