Flush prior to symptoms? Or leave them as is?

Hi all,

I have my babies in 1 gallon pots and they are moving into the 3’s (forever home) on Monday. Early flower stage. I have kept them on the drier side but not at wilting point to make sure I didn’t overwater. Every day they receive a small amount of water/fert solution, but not to the point of run off. So… should I flush them prior to transplant? They look healthy and not showing signs of fert toxicity… but wanted to see what you pros do.

When you transplant the soil should be fairly moist. You want the dirt to be solid enough that you can minimize contact with the roots. Transplant when the soil is wet enough to ensure you are pulling a solid root ball. Definitely don’t transplant from dry soil. The roots won’t be happy about it.
