Flowering 2 plants, 1 container... hermaphrodite?

So I have a plant in flower, well actually it’s 2 plants in 1pot. Both plant showed hairs as if they were females. 4 weeks into flower and one of the plants seems to have balls now. I’m thinking it’s a hermaphrodite, so if I cut this plant down will it harm my female plant?

Yep. Looks like male parts. Kill it. :skull:

Just wanted to know if it’s going to harm the female plant by cutting down the male plant…

No, in fact it will benefit the remaining plant in every way.

If you see pH issues down the road, it could be due to the natural decay processes of the roots. I would not be concerned, especially since soil is much more forgiving due to pH buffering amendments.

Also, be mindful that the male plant doesn’t shoot up new growth which could pollinate your flowers. The plant is persistent.
