This is what I’m most likely going to replace dust with… (AFTER I TRY IT OUT OF COURSE) … I would get some of the flower mix and use it as directed after using the earth dust base in the beginning. Then once your base is gone go to theirs. I was told this is the closest thing out there to dust

As for ph of the water, as long as the ph isn’t crazy out there I wouldn’t mess with it. Dust has everything in it for the microbes to regulate the ph. I do recommend some type of charcoal filter to clean up the water a little bit before using it especially if you are using a public source

I have a water filter. @LiesGrows turned me on to what he is using now that the company went out of business. I ordered a bag of the backyard bloom. I have wayyyy too much of ED base.
I will take a gander at the kind you found also. Thank you!!

Don’t over think the process. When going the true organic rout one doesn’t need to ph the water. Nor do you have to check the run off.

We grow 100% organically and have had great success. Utilizing a cover crop and freshly brewed teas have been key. The cover crop add nutrients for the worms and also helps to prevent evaporation during the hot months. It also helps to consistently build your currents soil.

Freshly brewed teas are just simply amazing. These can be as simple or as complicated as you want to make them. If you go this rout look into obtaining ingredients naturally. For instance humus from the local forest. This will allow your plants/soil to slightly adapt to the local environment better. Adding microbes ect. to the soil that have been living/surging and thriving in the area and elements already.

We also introduce worms to the soil at the start of the outdoor season. These little critters help transport nutrients into the soil and do a great job aerating it.
Munching on dead cover crop and bring it down into the soil. At the same time leaving behind the worlds freshest worm castings.

Happy soil = happy plants.

Hope this helps alittle bit.
Happy farming…
