First time. Need help with growing process, what medium to use?

Hello, I have a 48x48x78 tent. SZHLUX PT4000 LED Grow Light 6×6ft with Timer and Temp Control, Full Spectrum Grow Lamp Dimmable with 864 Samsung Diodes for Indoor Plants. and general hydroponics 3 set.

The question is I have done a ton of research on how to use what I have above and how to actually setup for first time use, but it is still kind of flooring me? What do I grow in (containers, fluid, soil etc)? I thought hydroponics meant no soil but I may be completely incorrect. What is the process for the different sets of fluids.

If anyone could point me to a post on here that will help me, I would really appreciate any type of help you have.

I have bought autoflower seeds btw.

Welcome to the forum @Cooterhog you should find what your looking for here.
I too am using the GH three part Flora series with full line of GH additives as listed in the Advanced GH feeding schedule as well as Hydroguard as a root additive to protect and stimulate root health.
I use Active Aqua Root Spa Dep Water Culture DWC with additional air stones, one extra air stone per bucket on a separate air pump. That way your plants have an additional air supply to both buster air supply and provide redundancy incase of pump failure. Air to roots is essential and the extra line of air bolsters growth.

You will also need a inline ventilation fan 6 inch and carbon filter if you want to keep the smell down and some fans to keep air moving in the tent if you decide to go with soil or coco I would use fabric pots 3 gallon for autos 5 to 7 for photos

Question here, While I have 1 inline fan and filter, do I need 2? One for take in and one for take out?

Oh and for the first time I went ahead and bought auto-flower.

I don’t but some growers here do if you can maintain good ventilation with one fan do it less wiring you to mess with

Thank you Sir. I am growing tomatoes in there right now to see how it works. Going to start out with one plant.

I found the growing pods General Hydroponics Rapid Rooter Plant Starters. Now I need to research how to grow using the hydroponics mixture. Just one plant, easiest might be the 1 bucket system?

This post right here has helped me greatly. Thank you!

I have bought these to start my plants, General Hydroponics Rapid Rooter Plant Starter, but it says I need to soak these in something before I put the seeds in. I have this, what do I need to soak it in before I put the seeds in? I have the three hydroponic solution I listed earlier. Thank you for any help, I don’t want to waste seeds, they are expensive.

General Hydroponics Rapid Rooter Plant Starter, does this meaure ph?

Tap water works just fine for soaking the Rapid Rooters (it is not like your going to get a buildup).
