First time indoor and with autoflower

Dude - that is one stout little auto!
Did you top or FIM?

I’m current running photos indoors and have an outdoor grow going as well as an experiment involving a 2x2 I picked up.
After the outdoor grow is done and my experiment is over, I plan on using the 2x2 to run a couple of autos while training photos in the big tent, so I’m trying to pick up some knowledge now.
And maybe pick up some tips to help my buddy, @Syndrix s current grow.
Hell - that’s a great LST for any plant!!

Happy Growing Everyone!!

@Tylersays That training is all LST no topping or fimming, just started to bend the plant over and put stakes over the branches to keep them moving down and outward instead of up, then just constantly adjust the stakes to make sure the branches continue to go out sideways until it’s at the size horizontally that your trying to achieve. It’s the method I usually use, well either that or using string to tie the branches down to the pot and have gotten these results…

I usually only top or fim my photos, but I have done it to autos in the past with great results as well, but like i said you just have to make sure you get on it early as possible .

WOW!
Great looking plants man!!
This is our first year of legal growing and we didn’t go legal until July 1 so all my outside girls are in pots.
I plan on digging and prepping a couple of holes in the ground for next full season of growing.
I’m seriously considering building a large outdoor scrog, like 10x10, just to see if I could fill it up!
Maybe bigger!

And those inside girls are incredible!! I really like the yellow support clips
Did you print those or buy them somewhere? That’s a great idea!

Thanks buddy ! Yours look awesome too! My state is not yet legal so that’s why I always do lots of training to keep them low below the fence line to my neighbors yard hahahaha but you could easily fill up a space that big with a few outdoor girls. And those support clips I bought from my local grow store ,I’m sure you could find them online as well, they are called plant yoyos. Its a spring loaded support that is a lifesaver for when your colas get big and heavy and also I use them to continue to train the plants so I can pull the top buds around to the places that I want them , very cheap usually to I would highly recommend getting some for sure @Tylersays

On the other side of that solarium and tree line is my neighbors deck.
He’s a county cop!!!
Got to love legal growing!!
Of course, 4 is the “limit” but up to 10 is still just a misdemeanor with a $250 fine soooo…
Now at 11 - they got a problem!
Luckily there’s no where he can see directly into my back yard and TBH, I don’t think he’d give a crap.

Thanks for the info on the yoyos! I’m definitely seeking those out ASAP.
It looks like a simple and elegant solution to a problem I hope to have!!
Another 2-3 weeks of veg and away we go!!

Well damn!! I thought I read on Virginia NORML it was 10…good to know.
Now where can I put 5 more tents? :joy:

right? i told a neighbor friend, i’ ve gone 50 years with NO criminal record whatsoever. I’d be ok (and almost proud to wear) with having a misdemeanor, and for that, at this stage in life  why WOULDN’T you just grow 49?? if i had the space…

The fines actually increase. Each is a misdemeanor until you get close to 50. It’s even possible to get a felony in between 40-50 in VA. At least I saw something on the VA NORML website concerning the increase in possible penalties between certain number ranges after the legal limit.

I’ll give one a go on the next cycle for sure. Thanks for the tips!

It was in all honesty, accidental. Originally planned on 4 outside and 4 inside. Started extras for friends and family and ended up with a couple of them. And booted a girl out of the tent for a couple of reasons - and now she thrives!
So really only 5 on the deck, two for an experiment, and three in the tent.
I’m hedging my bets! LOL

@TheVirginian these are looking so dang good each and every day

All going in to week 9. All in different stages. 2 are almost ready to go. The other two are a little ways behind. It’s so exciting. The two that are almost ready have developed a strong, good smell. One more than the other. The trichomes are turning milky all over. I’m hoping another couple of days they’ll be done. The leaves changed color when the buds started really getting big and resin filled with significant trichome development. I chalk that up to up to the nutrients being pushed to the buds but of course I could be wrong.

Haven’t posted for awhile but this was the conclusion of this grow. The bud turned out really good. Has a really good taste and strong sweet kind of smell. I have received nothing but high remarks from people who have no idea that I grew it. Very proud of how it all turned out.
