Suggest a magnifier so that you can examine the trichomes on flower. Some use a jeweler’s loupe, but a small microscope ($20 to $40 on Amazon) is better. I get pics like this with a small microscope.
You will want cloudy to amber trichomes based on your taste.

Doesn’t look ready yet. When all the pistils have turned brown is a good time to start looking at trichomes.

Looks great, but not quite ready. Picking the harvest is one of the toughest tasks in the grow.
