You should watch a vid to see what happens. When the BHO hits the glass, it kind of boils as it evaporates, so anything with a screen or open coil wouldn’t work. The little glass bowl or nail is to “contain” it while it does it’s thing. For the nails, there is a little cup shape on top, and you would just ease the dab against it as you inhale. you wouldn’t drop a whole big wad on a nail.

I am actually debating on whether to try me second grow with vastly more knowledge and a better start, and bag seeds - or to drop cash on genetics.

So you get the “nail-dome” thing? I ordered one of these online for the bowl, had never heard of a dab, and had no clue what the extra pieces were for :slight_smile:

It might, I would look for something advertised for dabs and such. Even a ceramic coil will get toasted if the junk clogs it up. I think it needs something to separate the oil from the coil. NOT a definitive answer, people invent cool stuff all the time.

No worries! The fittings are a standard size so you can upgrade attachments later without having to buy a new pipe.

@Doug_xx2 I just reviewed your grow and have to say that you learned a lot from your first grow ! You made mistakes but we ALL DO on the first grow. Your statement about abusing your plant is common for first time growers. It is amazing how much we can “screw up” and still come out with better smoke than you can purchase ! I would believe you are going to have some awesome grows after this. Good Job ! Jerry
