First time growing and plants keep dying :(

So I got my hydro set up, got some clones but wasn’t aware they needed nutrients once I got them home so two died from that and now the other three don’t look so well. :frowning:

Any tips or idea on what’s going on would help…pictures of the current survivors

Ps ordered a co2 bag that should be coming today and I use Dutch pro nutrition

Welcome to the community my friend! Heres some hydro guys. @HappyHydroGrower @peachfuzz hope they can help! :love_you_gesture::call_me_hand::muscle:

Do you have any idea what your ph or PPM/ec is?

PH 5.8 and EC 1.0

It’s possible they could be stressed from me not giving nutrients for a few days after I got them. Got them Friday and didn’t give nutrients till Tuesday I believe. Long story but I was away from home then the guy didn’t tell me to give them nutrients so I only gave them water and light for a few days.

Oh and enemy of the state strain, I’ll answer those other questions soon I am away from home now.

First time growing this is a day old does it look normal

Wtf you trying to highjack my thread?? Lol

Btw no idea, I only worked with clones so far and I’m not doing well at it :rofl:

Clones always look scruffy until they are established FYI. Not knowing any particulars of your grow will make it hard to diagnose any issues.

I am interested in the root zone: how close to net pot is liquid? How large is the container plant is in? Are you running DWC or RDWC? Water temp? Is there air going into the liquid?

FYI exhale bags are not worth the money you paid for them: they don’t work.

What strain Enemy of the state clones I got from guy at grow shop
-Age of plant no idea, friend picked up the clones for me and dropped them off.
-Method: Hydroponics, I use the Nutriculture Wilma 18L I believe
-Vessels: Plastic 18L
-PH and TDS of Water, 5.8
-PPM/TDS or EC of nutrient solution: 1.0
-Method used to measure PH and TDS Penmeter P100 Pro
-Indoor or Outdoor: Indoor 4x4
-Light system List brand and wattage/spectrum I don’t know, I’ll have to check with the guy I got it from but they are more then enough
-Actual wattage draw of lights
-Current Light Schedule 18 on 6 off
-Temps; Day, Night I keep it around 70F
-Humidity; Day, Night I try to keep it around 60 but it fluctuates
-Ventilation system; Yes, No, Size yes don’t know the size but I went with more then I needed
-AC, Humidifier, De-humidifier, I have AC/Heater combo, three fans and a humidifier
-Co2; Yes, No yes but it just came in today so I will I will have to hang it up

The thing about the Wilma hydroponic system is I was not using it until maybe a day before the picture. When I got in contact with the guy from the grow shop he said to put them in the pots and give them nutrients and that’s what I did following the schedule he gave me.

The miscommunication was caused because he speaks a different language so my female friend that doesn’t know anything about weed picked the plants up and gave them to me and didn’t relay much back to me. When shit hit the fan I got his cell number from him and had a google translator conversation through text.

Anyway it’s my first time at this as you can tell but once I either ruin this or fix it I’m sure I’ll be on my way in no time.

You never mentioned water temps…?
Is this a rdwc system or separate container’s / not connected to each other… ?
What size air pump are you running and what size stones… ?
Also , how high is the water level in the buckets… ?
:v:t4: :sunglasses:

There is no water in the buckets, when you feed them the water drips into the pots next to your plant then exit at the bottom and go back into the system. Here is a quick video so you get what I am saying

I have this system

Easy video so you get how it works

I might not know much about hydroponics but I got this one because it seemed easy and it was a four pot system that I needed.

Current set up, I have clients coming over in a bit so I have to run oh and I think they are looking a little better today

Oh and if it matters it is legal to grow where I am as long as you have a permit and I have mine or else I wouldn’t post anything online. Cheers

Its basically a flood and drain system…
Not a big fan of those systems…
Your timing of when to water and for how long to water will be critical… :face_with_raised_eyebrow: :+1:t3:
And those times will change with the age of the plant and what stage of growth that you are in…
