First time grow with White Widow Auto. (More seeds incoming)

So day 10 for the white widows(counting from when they popped up from soil). The two babies are growing fantastic. The one baby who’s cotyledon was torn off is growing as well but definitely will be stunted. Compared to her sisters she’s healthy but size wise she is for sure not keeping up. They are also starting there third nodes. The third image is of the stunted WW.

Next up we have the JH, Ak47, and NYC turbo diesel.
They are all on day 4. Looking beautiful and are already as big length wise as the stunted WW on day 10.

Last is OG kush. Still waiting on her to pop up. Just planted a day ago. So no pics for that one yet.

Should I keep the stunted WW? Or replace with something else? She is healthy also started third nodes, just leaves are not as wide and spaced out as her sisters. @OGIncognito @Flying-High @pillsbury
Thoughts?

I kept a stunted GSCE auto once and eventually ditched it. I would keep it & see what becomes of it. I will keep another stunted plant again if I get one just to see, an ounce is better than nothing.

That’s very true an ounce is better than nothing. Can also end up using her as a test plant for different things before I do it to the others. Thanks for response and idea.

Sometimes a stunted plant reacts trying to protect itself with as much THC as it can make.
You never know. I rarely if ever cull my own herd. I will try to move some outdoors in the wild if need be. Here is a recent pic of my stunted WWA who got moved outside.

Ok that’s a good note to make I didn’t know something like that could increase thc production. Also yeah makes more sense to keep it than toss it. Especially since this is my first grow I could learn a lot of “Don’t’s” with it.
Would you guys recommend lst for it or just let it grow natural since it’s already been stressed?

Check my WWA thread:

LST/HST whatever I think will increase my bud yield I do it, regardless of Auto or Photo.

There are some pruning and super-cropping videos linked in that thread.

Does it always work the way we want it to? No, but we always learn more trying to increase our yields than just letting our plants do their own thing. IMHO :+1: :sunglasses:

Thanks appreciate it.

You’ve got some time left for it to perk up and maybe catch up?? I would never cull a runt, had a Skittlez runt auto and it grew the densest buds out of 4. 5-6 nodes before any training is my preference :love_you_gesture:

Keep it. My stunted Gelato was my first seed to pop and is my first auto to flower. She was stuck at 3 nodes for what felt like an eternity. 4”, maybe 5” max. She’s in preflower now and has sprouted to 9” when I measured this morning, and her root structure is the most impressive one next to the photo plant I’m growing in hydro with my autos.

I’m not sure what her yield is going to be just yet but if her three day growth spurt is any indication, it should be a few ounces at the least.

@Graysin thanks guys. I will for sure look forward to what I can produce with her. Hopefully she’s the frostiest out of them all.

Glad you guys had/are having success with your stunted ones as well.

@Flying-High @OGIncognito @Graysin @pillsbury hey fellas need some advice. I recently fed the WW who just turned two weeks some fox farm big bloom. I did half of recommended dosage. 15ml per gallon and fed the girls 1L of water. Only one of them has shown any signs of change. On two leaves I see i slight different green. Here’s a picture. Should I stop nutrients?

Checked for pests didn’t see any.

Big Bloom is pretty mild organic nutes, in my wholly unprofessional opinion. I like it because it seems to make my girls perk up, but it’s not a good sub for actual nutes. It looks like she may be telling you she needs something else soon - not sure she’s tellin’ you what just yet.

Is this the first feeding of supplemental nutrients anyone has gotten thus far? It may be time to check runoff PPMs and see if you’re ready to give a real round of nutes before deficiencies start emerging.

Yes this is first round. And ok will check ppm next feeding.
I’m using fox farm ocean Forrest.I read that it has alot of nutrients so just wanted to start with the big bloom because of how light it was compared to the grow big nutrients.
But yeah maybe I’ll try full strength of big bloom and 1/3 of grow big next time

What’s going on @DarkChildTD? The FFOF is a little on the hot side. That medium will typically take the plant to week 5-6 with PH water only. The FF Trio if that’s what you’re using is your base nutrients and I noticed 1 dark waxy looking leaf. Usually a sign of too much nitrogen. Your FFOF is loaded with your beneficiary microbes for healthy and vigorous root growth and establishment. I would assume if you do take run off numbers they’ll be on the high side. :love_you_gesture:

Here’s a better shot of the plant.

PH water to get some run off, test the 1st of the run off not at the end. Upfront run off is checking your nutrient levels, back end run off testing is flushing to reduce PH or high PPMS/EC.

I’ve never used F.F. nutes so I don’t know whats in them when it comes to their stuff. 15 ml per gal sounds pretty potent but then again I don’t know F.F. nutes, an saying big bloom, seems more for when shes in flower. An what kind of dirt? most don’t need nutes at 2 weeks, more like 4 or 5. Plant looks good from what I can see.

So big bloom is like a micro mix, bare minimum stuff. Their “tiger bloom” is what is used for during flowering.
I’m using fox farm ocean forest. I gave them some cal mag cause I had some of them showing light spots i the tip of some leaves but it’s been corrected now.

@OGIncognito thanks I did and was in 250 range. But from other things that popped up I just needed some cal/mag from bush doctors.

White widow are 17 days. Started to train them today.
Already giving off a great smell. Watered them with great white mycorrhizae.

One of my white widows has a see through side and that’s the picture of the routes.

The other 3 jh, nyc, and ak are 11 days old and look just as great as the white widows did at their age.

maybe i can get a little advice from some of you folks here. i too as well am growing an ilgm WWA and am currently on day 55 and shes still in preflowering stage, has been for about two weeks. shes in a 3 gal container with a blend of FFOF and FFHF and perlite. have only been giving half doses of the ff trio every other water as she doesnt really seem to like much nutes. i really dont know if shes going to flower? oh and its under a KingLED 1500 (324 true watts) i have two 4" ac infinity fans going. night temps are 71-72 and daylight temps are 78-79f . Should i just keep her going? do you think that she will ever develop flowers at this late in the game? (9 weeks)

Welcome welcome.

What light cycle is she on?

Try to attach some photos. A picture is worth a thousand words they say.
